Article Processing Charge (APC) Policy
The Journal of Business Integration and Competitiveness (JoBIC) operates as an open-access journal to ensure that research findings are freely accessible to a global audience without subscription barriers. To support this open-access model and cover the costs associated with publication, JoBIC requires an Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted manuscripts. Below is a detailed breakdown of the APC policy.
1. Article Processing Charge (APC)
- Standard APC: Authors are required to pay an APC of Rp500.000,- (IDR) upon acceptance of their manuscript for publication in JoBIC. This fee covers all publication-related costs, including:
- Peer review management.
- Manuscript editing and formatting.
- We are hosting the article on the journal's website.
- Long-term archiving and digital preservation.
- The process involves marketing and disseminating the published research.
2. What Does the APC Cover?
The APC ensures the journal’s ability to offer high-quality services throughout the publication process. These services include:
- The management of the double-blind peer review process involves the handling editor and qualified reviewers.
- Copyediting: Professional copyediting ensures clarity, grammar, and adherence to the journal's style guidelines.
- Typesetting and formatting: Make sure the manuscript follows the journal's design and publication standards, including the inclusion of figures, tables, and references.
- Open Access Hosting: This ensures that the manuscript is freely accessible worldwide immediately after publication.
- Indexing and Archiving: Listing the article in key academic databases and providing permanent archiving to ensure long-term accessibility.
- The Digital Object Identifier (DOI) assigns a persistent link to every published article.
3. When is the APC paid?
- Post-Acceptance: Only after the manuscript successfully passes peer review and receives publication acceptance is the APC payable.
- Payment Window: To ensure the timely processing and publication of the article, authors will receive an invoice for the APC, which they must pay within 30 days.
Note: Failure to pay the APC within the stipulated time may result in delays in publication.
4. Payment methods
JoBIC accepts the following payment methods :
- Bank Transfer - Mega Syariah Bank
- Name Account : Nasib
- Bank Account : 2011 5780 55
5. Refund Policy
The Article Processing Charge is non-refundable. Once the manuscript has been accepted and the APC is paid, no refunds will be issued, even if the author requests a withdrawal of the article at a later stage.
6. Additional charges
There are no additional charges beyond the APC. JoBIC does not charge authors for:
- Submission: Authors are not required to pay any fees at the time of manuscript submission.
- Color Figures or Tables: No extra charges apply for the inclusion of color figures, tables, or illustrations.
