Article Processing Charges

To provide open access to its content and cover costs related to publication, JoFIBI applies Article Processing Charges (APC). These charges ensure the high-quality editorial, peer review, and publication process, as well as free, unrestricted access for readers worldwide.

1. Article Processing Charges (APC):

Standard APC: APC of $31,- (USD) is payable upon acceptance of the manuscript. This fee supports:
- Peer review management
- Copyediting and proofreading
- Typesetting and formatting
- Indexing and online hosting services
- Immediate open access to the published article.
Waiver Policy: Authors from low-income or lower-middle-income countries, as classified by the World Bank, may request partial or full waivers. Waivers are reviewed and granted on a case-by-case basis.
Discounts: Discounts may be offered in cases of:
- Financial constraints of the authors.
- Invited or special issue articles.

2. Payment Details:

Payment instructions are sent after the manuscript has been accepted.
Payment must be completed before the article is officially published.
Accepted payment methods include secure bank transfers, credit cards, or online payment platforms.

3. No Submission Fees:

JoFIBI does not charge authors any fees for manuscript submission, initial editorial assessment, or peer review. The APC is applied only after acceptance for publication.
